Taping/Strapping
Kinesiology Taping (KT Taping) – Kinesiology tape stabilises the injured area by lightly adhering to the skin and applying pressure to the tissues the tape is wrapped around. This tape allows the connective tissue surrounding the affected muscle or tendon to move along with the body.
Strapping
There are many different types of sports strapping tapes which can be used in sports. Zinc tape is the most commonly used tape.
Zinc Oxide more rigid and is used restricted movement in the joints which may be causing pain by immobilising the joint
